As the Product Management Director for the Fortnite Creator Ecosystem, you will collaborate with development, publishing, marketing, and platform teams to define product strategy informed by data and market insights. Your work will empower creators to operate as game publishers with the tools, insights, and support needed to build, launch, grow, and monetize successful games.ResponsibilitiesOwn the strategy and roadmap for a portion of Fortnite’s developer economy, focusing on direct monetization products that balance creator value, player trust, and platform sustainability.Lead cross‑functional development of monetization systems, working closely with Programming and Design to translate strategy into scalable, reliable products.Partner deeply with Policy, Legal, and Trust & Safety teams to ensure monetization products are compliant, transparent, and aligned with Epic’s principles and ecosystem governance.Define and track key success metrics and economic health indicators, and utilize data, experimentation, and qualitative insights to inform prioritization and iteration.Guide go‑to‑market and change management for monetization capabilities, including internal enablement and external creator communication.Collaborate with Analytics and Insights to evaluate ecosystem performance, test hypotheses,
and identify opportunities to improve creator outcomes and platform efficiency.Qualifications10+ years of Product Management experience across live operations, virtual economy management, and feature/system design.A passion for games and a deep understanding of growth, retention, and monetization principles and mechanics that create value for players.Proven ability to design, launch, and operate monetization products in environments involving policy, fraud, and economic trade‑offs.Exceptional cross‑functional collaboration skills, particularly with Policy, Legal, Programming, and Analytics.Solid analytical background — experience working closely with data, analytics, or data science, and using metrics to drive decisions.Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including experience writing concept pitches and product requirement documents.A user‑focused, solution‑oriented, and innovative mindset that aligns with Epic’s culture and values.BenefitsEpic pays 100% for benefits for both employees and dependents and offers comprehensive medical, dental, vision, critical illness, telemedicine, life and AD&D, long‑term disability, short‑term disability, and a competitive retirement savings plan with employer match.
