Qualifications

Specialized experience in one or more of the following areas: AI implementation and technology; systems collaboration and partnerships (health and/or other sectors).

Responsibilities





Strategic Oversight:

Help shape and approve Holland Bloorview’s long‑term vision and strategic plan.

Fiduciary Duty:

Review financial statements and ensure appropriate stewardship of organizational resources.

Ambassadorship:

Serve as an active advocate for Holland Bloorview’s mission and impact in the broader community.

Resource Development:

Support fundraising efforts through personal philanthropy and/or by leveraging networks and relationships.

Commitment

Term:

Two 3‑year terms

Meetings:

6–8 board meetings annually, including one full‑day board retreat

Time Commitment:

Approximately 1–3 hours per meeting, in addition to committee participation
