As part of WSP’s Prairies & North team, you'll play a critical role in the structural design of hydraulic systems that meet the needs of local communities. Your engineering skills will shine through in the planning and analysis of water infrastructure while working closely with a team of experts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize structural engineering principles on water projects
• Perform calculations for reinforced concrete and steel
• Analyze designs for structures like floodwalls and weirs
• Assess loads pertinent to hydraulic infrastructure
• Review technical documents and collaborate in design phases
Requirements:
• Solid foundation in structural engineering principles
• Experience with hydraulic projects is a plus
• Skills in AutoCAD, SAP2000, and Excel
• Familiarity with geotechnical engineering is desired
• P.Eng. registration with APEGA preferred
