This role focuses on providing comprehensive care to residents with significant disabilities, ensuring their medical needs are met through collaboration with nursing staff. You'll play a vital role in monitoring patient health and managing complex clinical situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the MRP for approximately 44 residents
• Provide care for pressure injuries and respiratory infections
• Coordinate with specialists for comprehensive patient care
• Manage medication and ongoing treatment plans
• Be part of the call pool once every 4 weeks
Requirements:
• MD with licensure in British Columbia
• Experience in complex or outreach medicine
• Ability to work effectively with complex care patients
• Strong commitment to patient-centered principles
• CCFP and CMPA certification mandatory
