Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer with experience in SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) to join our enterprise SAP team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ABAP development, SAP TM enhancements, interfaces, APIs, forms, reports, and integration with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP modules. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience delivering large-scale SAP implementations and support projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP solutions for SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).
- Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, and conversions (RICEF objects).
- Build and enhance SAP TM applications using object-oriented ABAP and up-to-date SAP development techniques.
- Develop inbound and outbound integrations using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData services, REST APIs, and Web Services.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support SAP TM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support activities.
- Perform technical analysis, code reviews, performance tuning, debugging, and root cause analysis.
- Develop Adobe Forms, SmartForms, SAPScripts, and custom output management solutions.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, UAT, deployment, and post-production support.
- Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and development standards documentation.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in architecture discussions.
