Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including but not limited to cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management.
- Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events.
- Administer personal care services in accordance with the care plan directives.
- Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest possible standard.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to meet their specific needs.
- Perform specialized procedures for clients where training has been provided while demonstrating current competency.
- Observe and document client conditions in line with company standards; promptly report any unusual events or changes in client condition to the Supervisor or Office.
- Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices.

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of the principles of caregiving and customer service.
- Effective communication in spoken and written English; French proficiency is an asset.
- Current knowledge of practices for community care to provide high‑quality care services.
- Physical ability to assist clients with movement and/or repositioning; able to lift 23kg, squat, bend, stand, and reach.
- Reliable mode of transportation; driver's licence and automobile considered an asset.
- Ability to produce a clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
