Overview
As a Senior ML Developer you will lead and contribute to the design, analysis, and delivery of data‑driven solutions that address significant business challenges across our RAG programs. Your work will focus on building, testing, evaluating, and deploying NLP and ML models that enhance Autodesk’s RAG platforms and empower users on our Digital Customer Platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Machine Learning capabilities that improve Autodesk’s RAG platforms.
- Perform statistical and data analysis and exploration to generate datasets for model training and development.
- Collaborate with team members to develop cutting‑edge solutions and maintain a leading position in ML practice.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less‑experienced teammates and deliver key ML‑powered features for our platform.
- Partner with stakeholders to solve key business objectives across a range of problems.
- Translate business requirements and objectives into problems that can be addressed with data, statistics, and machine learning.
Qualifications
- MS/M.Tech/M.Math or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computational Linguistics, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in machine learning.
- Hands‑on experience with NLU and integrating traditional search techniques into RAG.
- Proficiency with the Python ML stack, e.g., Pandas, deep learning frameworks, traditional ML, probability calibration, etc.
- Knowledge of experimental design and analysis of results.
- Proven experience leading ML teams in deploying and improving ML features in production.
- Proven experience working in cross‑functional teams to implement ML solutions in production.
Compensation
For Canada‑based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $123,000 and $180,400. The package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
