Job Title: Solution Architect CRM
Location: Toronto, ON/Onsite
Duration: 125 business days with possible extension
Client: Public Sector
Pay Rate: CAD $105 - $110 per hour
Must have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent qualified experience.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture, including 5+ years as a Solution Architect with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Extensive hands‑on experience designing, implementing, customizing, and governing enterprise-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM/CE) solutions.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Dataverse architecture, including data modeling, entity relationships, security models, and enterprise data management.
- Proven experience designing and implementing Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Business Process Flows.
- Experience architecting Azure-based enterprise solutions using Azure Integration Services, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong experience designing enterprise integration architectures using REST APIs, MuleSoft, middleware technologies, API-led connectivity, and service orchestration.
- Hands‑on experience implementing Dynamics 365 security models, including Business Units, Security Roles, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Microsoft Entra ID, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Experience designing scalable, reusable,
multi-tenant enterprise platforms supporting multiple business units and configurable CRM solutions.
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 extensions, including Plugins, PCF Controls, Custom APIs, and Azure-hosted custom components.
- Experience developing enterprise architecture deliverables, including Solution Architecture Documents, Integration Architecture, Security Architecture, Data Flow Diagrams, Environment Designs, and Technology Roadmaps.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, leadership, documentation, and presentation skills with experience working alongside executive leadership, business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and delivery teams.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead the end‑to‑end architecture, design, and governance of enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions aligned with organizational business objectives and enterprise standards.
- Design scalable, secure, and reusable Microsoft Power Platform solutions utilizing Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Business Process Flows, and Dataverse.
- Architect Azure‑based enterprise solutions using Azure Integration Services, App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, and cloud‑native technologies.
- Design and implement enterprise integration architectures using REST APIs, MuleSoft, middleware platforms,
and API‑led connectivity patterns.
- Establish enterprise architecture standards, reusable design patterns, technology roadmaps, governance processes, and solution review frameworks.
- Define Dynamics 365 security architecture, including Business Units, Security Roles, Microsoft Entra ID integration, Identity & Access Management, and data segregation strategies.
- Produce architecture deliverables, including Solution Architecture Documents, Integration Architecture Specifications, Security Architecture Designs, Physical Architecture Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, Environment Architectures, Implementation Roadmaps, and Technology Decision Records.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Integration, Development, and Business teams to ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
- Lead architecture workshops, technical design sessions, solution reviews, and stakeholder consultations while translating complex technical concepts into business‑focused recommendations.
- Provide architectural leadership, technical guidance, mentorship, and governance throughout the complete project lifecycle, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high‑performing CRM solutions.
- Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies, cloud services, and enterprise integration capabilities to recommend innovative, future‑ready architecture solutions.
- Present architecture assessments, solution options, implementation strategies, technical risks, and recommendations to governance committees, executive stakeholders, and project leadership.
