LPN / LVN - ER

Shift: 12 Hours

Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse ER provides high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department setting.The LPN works under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and Physicians, supporting the assessment, treatment, and stabilization of patients with acute and critical conditions.This role requires robust clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the admission, triage, and monitoring of patients presenting to the emergency department.Perform nursing interventions including vital signs monitoring, wound care, IV therapy (as per scope), medication administration, and specimen collection.Support RNs and Physicians in emergency procedures and patient stabilization.Document patient care, interventions, and observations accurately in medical records.Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Qualifications:

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.Current CPR and BLS certification
