In this key position, you will work closely with various business units to shape and implement Canada Life’s technology risk management framework. As part of the 2nd line of defense, you will assess emerging risks and promote a culture of risk awareness essential for informed decision-making. You will collaborate with stakeholders to elevate risk management standards while leveraging modern technology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute technology risk management frameworks
• Coordinate with first-line defense on risk policies




• Analyze current and emerging risks through assessments
• Monitor the technology control environment
• Conduct reviews for technology risk regulatory examinations
Requirements:
• 5-10 years in technology risk, preferably in banking
• Solid understanding of regulatory environments
• Completed CISA, CISSP, or equivalent certifications
• Bachelor’s in relevant fields or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
Excel in risk management while supporting Canada Life’s mission of safeguarding customer experiences.
