As a full time Finance Superintendent, you'll oversee the accounting and accounts payable functions within Timmins Operations. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead month-end closing activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and manage internal controls. This position plays a pivotal role in guiding financial decision-making across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee month-end close activities and financial deliverables
• Ensure accurate weekly payment runs adhering to financial controls




• Supervise accounting and accounts payable personnel for optimal performance
• Assist in budget and strategic plan preparation for all departments
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting or Business
• CPA designation (CA, CMA, CGA) required
• 8-10 years of relevant industry experience
• Knowledge of IFRS, SOX, and Mining Tax
• Eligible to work in Canada
