Our Mississauga client is need of a JDE Lead for a permanent position. This role is 5 days onsite in Missisauga.

This role owns the functional delivery of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne across Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain Planning. You’ll sit at the intersection of business and IT — translating operational needs into system solutions, leading a blended onshore/offshore team, and driving continuous improvement across the platform.

Responsibilities

- Lead support and enhancements for JDE E1 non-finance modules, ensuring high-quality, responsive service
- Manage and develop a functional team (onshore/offshore), balancing workload and maintaining process discipline
- Serve as the primary bridge between business users and IT/IS teams
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline business processes through better use of existing or enhanced system capabilities
- Own requirements definition, functional specs, configuration, testing, user documentation, and training




- Drive issue resolution by identifying root causes and trends, not just symptoms
- Contribute to roadmap planning, aligning IT capabilities with business strategy
- Support project management across initiatives — scope, timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication
- Coach and mentor team members; foster a culture of knowledge sharing

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of JDE E1 functional experience (non-finance modules) — required
- 5+ years managing/leading a functional team
- Experience in Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, Shop Floor, Supply Chain Planning, and Order to Cash
- Background in business process re-engineering and full lifecycle implementations
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Manufacturing industry experience a plus
