Advance your career as a Grant Writer with The Stop Community Food Centre and help increase access to healthy food. This role offers permanent, full time hours focused on impactful grant writing.As a Development Officer, you'll take the lead on grant management, crafting persuasive proposals and conducting essential funder relationships. Your understanding of program needs will allow you to develop compelling cases for support. Working in collaboration with program and finance teams,



you’ll play a crucial role in achieving The Stop's fundraising goals while addressing inequality in Toronto.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and submit grant proposals and funding communications- Manage a diverse portfolio of funders and opportunities- Conduct thorough research for potential funding partners- Build relationships with staff to understand program impacts- Maintain a comprehensive grants calendar for deadlinesRequirements:- Minimum three years of experience in grant writing- Proven success with foundational fundraising efforts- Superior writing and project management skills- Strong ability to meet multiple deadlines- Commitment to the principles of anti-oppression and community-focused workUtilize your skills in grant writing to empower The Stop Community Food Centre's mission.#J-18808-Ljbffr
