What you’ll do

- Partner with the Corporate Controller to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business.
- Lead month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting and account analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records while identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the Finance team when required.
- Take ownership of priorities, adapt quickly to changing business needs and jump in wherever support is needed during this critical period.

What you’ll bring

- CPA designation (required).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience,



preferably with experience handling intercompany transactions and large datasets using PowerQuery.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting and month-end close.
- A proactive, action-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build robust relationships across the business.
- Availability to commit to the full six-month contract.

Details

- Annualized salary of $85,000 (pro-rated for the six-month contract).
- $5,000 completion bonus upon successfully completing the contract.
- This role will be in office five times a week during training, then transition to a four day a week in office.
