Essential Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a crew of carpenters, concrete finishers/masons and labourers
- Interface with the client and other contractors on site
- Ensure site safety by maintaining a hazard-free environment and enforcing compliance with Ledcor’s health, safety, and environmental standards
- Coordinate work activities with the client, contractors, and other forepersons to ensure smooth project execution
- Plan and manage resources, equipment, and labour to keep operations efficient
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately
- Monitor project schedules to ensure work is completed within regular hours and meets deadlines
- Resolve on-site challenges and proactively manage work sequencing

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial construction environment preferred




- Journeyperson Carpenter
- Strong carpentry and concrete formwork background with knowledge of industrial construction and related trades
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Valid driver’s license and clean abstract required

Work Conditions

- Work schedule: 10 days on, and 4 days off plus statutory holidays off
- Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
- Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
- Weekly payment of wages
