Contribute as a Temporary Part time Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Joseph Brant Hospital. This position offers a chance to engage directly with patients during critical care.
Joseph Brant Hospital, located in Burlington, Ontario, is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for its busy Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of clinical experience in Emergency, I.C.U., or step-down units. Successful applicants will have current Basic Life Support certification, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
• Administer IVs and manage patient-controlled analgesia




• Utilize effective communication within a multidisciplinary team
• Teach patients and families about care plans
• Document assessments and interventions accurately
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum two years of recent clinical nursing experience
• BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Ability to function effectively in emergencies
