Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the Division’s Distribution, Logistics, Customer Service, Order Management, and Business Operations.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan that leverages Centric’s scale and infrastructure to maximize opportunities, grow revenue and profit, and minimize expenses.
- Drive operational excellence and implement best practices to achieve world‑class supply‑chain and logistics operations that align with the business.
- Drive innovation through people, process, and technology and maximize supply‑chain functions.
- Evaluate back‑end operations, develop and execute strategies to run more efficiently and enhance operational efficiency.
- Establish processes to support change and focus on continuous and sustainable improvement.
- Integrate new businesses as needed.
- Deliver business results by working cross‑functionally with brand operations executives and shared‑services teams.
- Partner with Sourcing, Production, and Sales to develop cohesive processes and procedures that support the business strategy and distribution requirements.
- Partner with Corporate support leaders to increase customer service and streamline order execution processes.
- Partner with DC Operations team to identify best network strategy, improve SOPs, VAS operations, optimize DC Bypass opportunities, and minimize costs.
- Work with planning and production to provide unit receipt, shipment, and inventory forecasts by warehouse on a monthly/weekly basis.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure revenue and budget objectives are met and pursued.
- Work with operations/finance team to review operational chargebacks, negotiate with retailers, and implement corrective actions.
- Build credibility and maintain relationships with key internal and external customers and 3PL partners.
- Develop and maintain a robust set of departmental dashboards and KPIs to monitor and measure performance.
- Establish and manage business metrics in ERP, ensuring data integrity and appropriate system maintenance.
- Provide leadership, support, motivate, direct, and retain high‑caliber staff.
- Oversee building management and facilities approvals across operational locations.
- Ensure facilities support operational efficiency, safety, and business continuity.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of operations experience; a college degree preferred.
- Experience in wholesale, DTC,
and international apparel/accessory supply chain.
- Experience supporting club‑retailer operations (e.g., Costco, Wal‑Mart, Sam’s Club).
- Strong operator who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, able to be both strategic and tactical.
- Senior‑level or head of operations experience with a proven track record leading a sizable wholesale apparel import manufacturing business to profitability.
- Flexible and adaptable, open to rethinking existing processes and standardizations.
- Innovative approach with ability to propose new ideas and drive organizational change.
- Strategic thinker capable of achieving short‑term results in alignment with long‑term business objectives.
- Track record of exceeding cost, accuracy, and service goals.
- Team player who collaborates across all levels to execute change in a fast‑moving environment.
- Solid leadership skills, able to communicate a vision and inspire others.
- Proven track record of leading business transition and large‑scale projects.
- Ability to develop, coach, motivate, and inspire a results‑oriented team.
- Highly self‑motivated, action‑oriented, with a strong professional presentation.
- Credible, confident, collaborative, and able to build relationships across all brands and levels.
- Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical capabilities.
- Understanding of the complete supply‑chain process.
- Experience in a matrixed, shared‑service environment.
- Acts with high integrity.
- Skilled listener who respects viewpoints and builds consensus.
- Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.
- Bilingual (French/English); English is required for this position since clients outside Quebec will be served.
