Cementation is searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for their North Bay, Sudbury, Toronto, or Vancouver offices. Join a dedicated team where you will lead engineering initiatives for complex mining projects.
In this full-time role, your hands-on technical leadership will be instrumental in developing innovative and compliant mechanical solutions for underground mining projects. You'll mentor other engineers, work collaboratively with diverse teams, and ensure all safety codes are adhered to in project designs. The position requires mastery in complex mining engineering challenges, making your expertise invaluable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct mechanical engineering design for large-scale projects
• Generate secure, operable, and regulatory-compliant solutions




• Conduct calculations and select equipment
• Collaborate with various engineering and project teams
• Support during construction and commissioning phases
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Must be a Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
• 10+ years’ experience in mining or heavy industrial fields
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems
• History of mentoring junior engineers
