Job description / tasks
- Supervise and co‑ordinate activities of staff who prepare food
- Ensure the food and service meet quality control standards
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Maintain and order supplies; requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Maintain computerized stock inventory
- Clean and maintain workspace
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Perform same duties as workers supervised
