We are seeking an Addiction Medicine Physician to join our specialized treatment program at Ravensview, part of Homewood Health. This position involves delivering evidence‑based treatments and superior outcomes within a cooperative interdisciplinary team, including nurses, dieticians, social workers, occupational therapists, recreational therapists, and horticulture therapists.
Responsibilities
- Clinically responsible for assigned patients including admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, monitoring, referral, daily care, and discharge.
- Clinical care includes diagnosis and management of substance use disorders,
medication management, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team for return‑to‑work planning and psychotherapeutic interventions.
- Provide ongoing supervision and management of clinical/patient care, including individual assessments with the patient to ensure ongoing standards of patient care are met.
- Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals in providing optimal patient care within an interdisciplinary team.
