This position with Fraser Health requires an acute care general surgeon who excels in clinical skills and has a keen interest in education and research. Work alongside 10 experienced surgeons in a collaborative environment focused on enhancing acute surgical care. The expected commitment is at least 12 weeks per year, with potential for more.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality acute surgical services
• Mentor and teach medical students and residents
• Participate in clinical research and quality initiatives




• Coordinate with subspecialty surgeons for comprehensive care
• Maintain required medical credentials and licenses
Requirements:
• Proven clinical and surgical expertise
• Fellowship training in Trauma and/or Acute Care Surgery preferred
• Must possess valid CMPA, FRCSC, CSPBC credentials
• Willingness for a minimum commitment of 12 weeks
• Adaptable to take locum assignments prior to deadline
