In this full-time position, you will collaborate with the Mechanical Technician Team to support Sheet Metal programs while managing lab equipment and creating a safe learning setting. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in sheet metal technologies and procedures to facilitate effective hands-on learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair lab/shop equipment
• Ensure safety in lab/shop environments




• Manufacture specialized instructional items
• Monitor inventory of tools and supplies
• Prepare and dismantle lab/shop exercises
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Certificate or Technical Diploma
• Hands-on experience in sheet metal trade
• Lab/shop experience is an asset
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
