About Our Squamish Clinic
The clinical team at Squamish is passionate about enriching the health of their clients through a holistic approach. As the Occupational Therapist you will play a vital role in delivering care within a progressive and collaborative atmosphere. We welcome applications from new graduates.

Halfway between Vancouver and Whistler, where the Coast Mountains meet the mouth of Howe Sound, Squamish is steeped in adventure and rich with culture. The role can be either employee or an independent contractor and initially will be 2–3 days a week. Travel is required.

Your Impact
You will provide both individual and program‑based treatments and assessments for individuals in long‑term disability, and support veterans, Canadian Armed Forces members, first responders, and individuals facing physical, cognitive and mental wellness goals through the PCVRS (Partners in Canadian Rehab Veterans Services) program. In this role, you will:

Evaluate the worker's physical, cognitive, and psychological functions, as well as job demands and workplace environment

Manage concussion and return‑to‑function planning

Perform clinical evaluations, provide exercises, functional tasks, and cognitive strategies (e.g., pacing, energy conservation) to address injury‑related deficits

Teach techniques like mindfulness, relaxation, and sleep hygiene to manage pain, fatigue, and emotional distress

Provide education to the client and employer about the recovery process, the benefits of staying connected to work, and their roles in the plan

Identify suitable modified duties, adapt the work environment,



and monitor progress where appropriate

Record assessment and treatment interventions in the client's chart

Excel in a team-oriented, inter‑disciplinary team environment

Exhibit sound professional judgment

Are you the right fit?
As one of the largest networks of OTs in the nation, you will work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, delivering high‑quality, client‑centered care across multiple clinics or specific clinic and community settings.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of current Occupational Therapy standards, modalities and scope of practice; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists in your province

1–3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred; newly licensed graduates are accepted

Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle may be required

Other Requirements

Clinical experience is an asset in areas such as brain injury/neurological rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal/orthopedic injury, home safety, ergonomics and/or return to work

Passion for your profession and commitment to ongoing professional development

Superior interpersonal relations, communication, problem‑solving, time management, computer and documentation skills

Proficiency in computer skills

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team

Bilingualism – French and English are assets
