Summary
As an Occupational Therapist, you play a vital role in helping individuals regain, develop, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and meaningful activities. Your clinical expertise, creativity, and patient-centered approach empower patients to achieve greater independence and improved well‑being.

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapists to join healthcare teams across British Columbia. In this role, you will assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to support functional independence. You will work with diverse patient populations across acute care, rehabilitation, long‑term care, and community settings.

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ functional abilities and needs

Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans

Support patients in improving daily living skills (ADLs and IADLs)

Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices

Educate patients and families on therapy goals, techniques, and home programs

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and physiotherapists

Document patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

Promote safety, independence, and quality of life for patients





Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements

Location: Hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and community settings across British Columbia

Shifts: Days, with potential for weekends or rotational coverage

Environment: Supportive, multidisciplinary teams focused on patient-centered care

Requirements – What You’ll Bring

Registration or eligibility with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (or relevant regulatory body)

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Experience in acute care, rehab, community, or long‑term care settings (preferred)

Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and problem‑solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and quality care
