What You’ll Do
Mechanical assembly, wiring, debugging, cable builds and some soldering
Interpret assembly drawings, electrical drawings
Debugging, handle assembly and production issues, as they arise
Maintain an organized and clean working environment
Product Testing: Test the hardware and software
Complete build documents, checklists and tracking
Your Expertise
Education: Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering or related field
On‑site Full Time: Able to work full‑time onsite in our Kanata office
Heavy Lifting: Able to lift heavy objects up to approximately 27 kilograms/60 pounds
Technical Knowledge and Skills
Hands‑on Experience: electronics, sensors, and PC‑based systems
Electronic Test and Measurement Equipment: comfortable working with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and calibration tools
Windows Software: Basic understanding of Windows‑based software installation and device drivers
Process Obsessed: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures
Problem Solver: determined to find a solution when something doesn’t work as expected, ability to debug and solve complex technical problems
Automation: some experience with motors, automation systems, electrical and wiring
Sensor Savvy: familiarity with instrumentation and sensor qualification
Traits and Abilities
Adaptable: able to adjust behavior, strategies and demeanor to changing situations or new information
Accountable: you follow through and take ownership of your work
