You must possess a clean driving abstract, H2S Alive, CSTS and First Aid. You will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. Due to the volume of applications received, only those selected for interviews will be contacted.

TOMCO Production Services Ltd. provides the following specialty services to our clients:

Post Weld Heat Treatment

Cold Cutting and Beveling

Hydraulic Torquing, Tensioning and Nut Splitting

Coring

Hot and Cold Taps

Flange Facing and Portable Milling

Responsibilities and Duties

Receives direction from Operations Supervisor on project and daily work requirements.

Performs work in a safe manner and abides by company and customer safety requirements.

Completes assigned paperwork as required by either customer or company.

Properly uses and maintains company tools, equipment and vehicles when applicable.

Operates machines including pump/motor base milling, line boring, RTJ + RF flange faces.

Ensures calibration and documentation of all associated gauges and measuring equipment.

Familiar with field machining equipment and limitations of each piece of equipment.

Controls and regulates machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow and depth and angle of cut.

Estimates jobs to determine the length of time and materials/equipment required to complete the job safely and efficiently.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent,



technical school or college-based credits.

Completion of safety related courses required by customer/clients and company.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to read blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished product.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret isometric drawings and develop equipment requirements from the drawing supplied by clients/customers.

Ability to interpret a variety of written and oral instructions.

Familiarity with various types of field machining tools and equipment.

Ability to verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.

Passes drug and alcohol test administered by customers and company.

Willingness to work extended hours, shift work, weekends, and holidays.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to work on out-of-town assignments; travel required.

Ability to work in various environmental conditions (rain, cold, hot, humid, etc.).

Sufficient manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation, to complete reports.

Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform field duties including climbing multiple levels of stairs and ladders.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Class 3 Driver’s License would be beneficial.
