Salary : $64,341.00 - $121,722.00 + ($3,500.00 provincial recruitment and retention allowance)
Assignment : .40 Continuing Position

- PRIMARY TEACHER (KINDERGARTEN/GRADE 1)

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Education (Elementary).
- A valid BC teaching certificate and current membership with The Ministry of Education and Childcare.
- Ability to assist students as needed in a variety of curriculum areas at primary grade levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a positive classroom learning environment that engages students in active learning experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to use inclusive instruction to meet the learning needs of diverse learners.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working from an inclusion perspective to address diverse learning needs.
- Understand and use a trauma‑informed approach in professional practice.
- Experience and knowledge using competency‑based assessment strategies.
- Experience in differentiating instruction to create success in learning for each student.




- Experience in integrating appropriate technologies into instructional practices to improve learning outcomes for students.
