We value equality, diversity, and inclusion and will provide support from management and ample training opportunities.ResponsibilitiesLead the Systems Engineering and Systems Integration elements of bids and projects within Mott MacDonald Canada, including system architecting, requirements management, and budget development/management.Develop, adopt, and deliver key Systems Engineering and Systems Integration processes and practices (SE, SI, RM, CM).Provide technical advice and leadership on Systems Engineering and Systems Integration management activities.Offer strategic and tactical support for Communication Systems, Signalling & Train Control, Traction Power, and Systems Assurance for MM rail projects across Canada and the US as needed.Support the development of MM Canada’s Rail Systems Practice.Select, develop, and work with key delivery partners and service providers for projects.Present to clients and project team partners.QualificationsDegree in Engineering or a related discipline (Software, Engineering Physics, or Systems)



from an accredited university.P.Eng in British Columbia, Ontario, or Alberta, or eligibility to obtain within 6 months.12+ years’ progressive experience in Systems Engineering and/or Systems Integration, especially in rail, transit, or other public infrastructure projects.Demonstrable strength in at least two of the following (with working knowledge of the remainder):System Engineering lifecyclesSystems ArchitectingRequirements ManagementIntegration and Interface ManagementSystems AssuranceIEC 1528Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiencesWell‑developed knowledge of railway systems and operations within infrastructure projectsExperience defining and directing systems engineering and integration testing activities to meet project goalsExcellent interpersonal skills for planning, leading, and documenting technical meetings with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatorsProven ability to work effectively as part of a multi‑disciplined teamCapability to hold competent technical discussions with client representativesInterface skill with domain specialists, design managers, and construction project managers in a professional mannerAbility to identify, analyze,



and mitigate interface and interoperability risks from safety and program management perspectivesProactive pursuit of personal and professional developmentAdditional Attributes (Preferred)Successfully managed a teamConfident and positive attitudeAbility to work independentlyAccurate and detail‑orientedProactive self‑starter who is flexible and eager to learnAbility to build good working relationships with business partners, suppliers, contractors, and clientsFlexibility to travelExperience working within a global business environmentDigital aptitude.
