Job Description

As a Team Lead – Senior Cost Controller, you will strengthen project controls practices and ensure robust cost monitoring and performance management. You will oversee cost control across multiple mandates while leading a team of professionals, directly contributing to impactful projects for our clients and the communities we serve.

Your Impact

- Manage budgets and forecasts to ensure the financial health of projects
- Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions to optimize performance
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to support decision‑making
- Ensure rigorous tracking of project performance in collaboration with stakeholders
- Manage changes and their financial impacts throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with processes, policies and contractual requirements

- Lead, engage and develop a cost control team
- Allocate resources across projects
- Ensure the quality of deliverables
- Review and approve outputs
- Participate in recruitment
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

The Skills That Set You Apart

- University degree, bachelor’s in engineering, finance, project management or a related field
- Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in cost control within complex engineering project environments
- Proven expertise in EVM and project financial control




- Demonstrated experience in team management and development
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in dynamic environments
- Knowledge of AACE and PMI frameworks and certifications are a robust asset
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Bilingualism is required (English‑speaking clients and partners outside Quebec)

Compensation

- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $122 900 – 162 800
- MB & ON: $112 100 – 154 400
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $111 000 – 147 400
