Senior Data Architect/Data Modeller

Location: Toronto, ON

Duration: Contract

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect/Data Modeller to advance enterprise data architecture and metadata management practices. The role supports metadata tooling, Digital Health Data Dictionary (DHDD), and OIDs/URIs enhancements to improve data quality, interoperability, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise data architecture for metadata management
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Define common business vocabulary, data standards, and metadata structures
- Align data architecture with enterprise and business architecture
- Collaborate with clinical, product, architecture, and development teams
- Support documentation and knowledge transfer activities

Must-Have Requirements

- Minimum 10 years of experience in solution design, system integration,



or platform delivery within complex digital environments (public health or government preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience across cross-functional teams—including clinical, product, and development stakeholders
- Strong modelling, documentation, and facilitation skills—able to co-design in team-oriented sessions and communicate clearly with non-technical partners
- Broad knowledge of a variety of architectural disciplines (e.g., Business, Application, Infrastructure, Network, Privacy & Security)
