As a key member of the Finance Team, you will report to the Lead for Production, Revenue, and Royalty Accounting. Your expertise will be paramount in ensuring accurate financial data and adherence to regulatory requirements for the Simonette facility and associated wells.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and assess impacts of changes in production and regulations
• Manage commodity transaction accounting with Marketing
• Perform monthly reconciliations and revenue accruals
• Ensure timely reporting for government and Petrinex
• Proactively identify process improvement opportunities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Business with accounting specialization
• Mandatory CAPPA certification
• 10+ years of production accounting experience
• Robust understanding of regulatory requirements in Alberta
• Experience with PAS required; SAP knowledge is a plus
