In this full time role, you'll provide strategic advice on collective agreements and employee relations across all levels. You'll lead grievance meetings, manage performance issues, and train HR staff in labour policies. Your role will significantly influence organizational strategies and ensure adherence to legal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise management on employee relations and performance issues
• Chair grievance meetings and conduct workplace investigations
• Develop and present training on labour relations topics




• Oversee negotiations and contribute to collective agreements
• Mediate conflicts and provide guidance on workplace policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in labour relations or related field
• Proven experience in public sector industrial relations
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Knowledge of employment legislation and collective agreements
• Ability to travel occasionally within Waterloo Region
