We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team for our Thornhill location.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Perform various office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Canadian dental assisting program or equivalent experience
X-ray certification preferred
Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods
Experience with Tracker or similar dental software is a plus
Previous experience as a Dental Assisting roles is beneficial
