Duties
Operate tow trucks efficiently to recover and transport vehicles from accident scenes, breakdowns, or parking violations
Assess vehicle conditions and determine the best towing method to prevent further damage
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues on tow trucks or customer vehicles when necessary
Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients during stressful situations
Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including vehicle details, locations, and times




Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Assist with basic automotive repairs or adjustments when required to facilitate vehicle recovery or transport

Experience
Prior experience operating commercial vehicles, especially tow trucks or similar heavy-duty equipment, is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance is essential for troubleshooting issues quickly
Customer service experience that demonstrates professionalism and empathy in high-pressure situations
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record is required
Forklift certification or experience operating other industrial machinery is a plus but not mandatory
Knowledge of local traffic laws, safety regulations, and industry best practices for vehicle recovery
