TankSafe is seeking a skilled Welder with leadership qualities. TankSafe manufactures Oilfield storage tanks , and various CWB welded structural projects.
Our work week is Monday to Friday 8 hr shifts, leaving you lots of summertime weekends.to do your own thing
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools
Inspect and test welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
Qualifications:
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
Ability to operate a forklift and rigging equipment
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repair
Competency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Experience with machining processes is a plus
