Due to Ontario Long-Term Care regulations, candidates must have the following documents before starting shifts.
Candidates who already have complete compliance documentation will be prioritized for upcoming shifts.

Required Compliance
Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) – issued within the last 6 months
2-Step TB Test – issued within the last 6 months
COVID-19 Vaccination Proof
Influenza Vaccination Proof (current season)
Healthcare related certification
CPR and 1st Aid
N95 Mask Fit Test
WHMIS Certificate
Worker Health & Safety Awareness (WHSA) Certificate
Government-issued ID

Key Responsibilities
Provide support to residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including mobility, dressing, grooming,



and personal care assistance
Assist residents with medication reminders or medication assistance according to retirement home policies after completing required training
Observe residents and report any changes in health, mood, or behaviour to nursing staff
Support residents’ comfort, safety, and emotional well-being through respectful and compassionate interaction
Assist with resident activities and engagement to promote social and physical well-being
Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans as directed by the care team
Follow infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices and safety procedures
Work collaboratively with nurses, PSWs, and other team members to support resident care
