Join the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) as Vice President, focusing on advocacy and community relations in Ontario. This hybrid position, based in Toronto, emphasizes building vital stakeholder connections and influencing policy. As the Vice President, you will be instrumental in shaping CIJA's government relations strategy while managing essential stakeholder engagement throughout Ontario.
Reporting to the CEO, you will devise comprehensive mobilization tactics and strengthen CIJA’s presence with donors, federations, and community partners. The role encompasses team leadership and represents CIJA's interests in diverse settings. Key Responsibilities:
Develop government relations strategies for Ontario municipalities
Foster partnerships with community leaders and organizations
Activate community stakeholders in support of CIJA’s priorities
Lead CIJA's Ontario team in advocacy activities
Attend and represent CIJA at public speaking engagements
Requirements:
Proven experience in advocacy or government relations
Robust knowledge of Ontario's political scene
Demonstrated ability to lead and engage diverse stakeholder groups
Experience with public sector and charity fundraising
Comprehensive understanding of the Jewish community's challenges
Use your expertise in advocacy and community engagement to effectively represent the Jewish community in Ontario with CIJA.
