We are looking for an experienced Senior AWS Data Developer to join a small team of full-stack developers, delivering high-quality data solutions on the AWS platform.

1. Short Ramp-up

This is a hands-on senior role in an established environment built with an AWS data stack. You'll be expected to learn quickly and deliver production-ready enterprise data solutions on pace with our full-stack developers.

You will be the data authority on the job, working independently most of the time. You must be comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating without an immediate technical safety net.

Our development teams work across a broad range of technologies, adapting to the unique needs of each client. While we're looking for experience in the AWS data ecosystem, we always prioritize general coding and delivery skills over specific tool experience:

- Core: Skilled mastery of Python and SQL.
- AWS Data Stack : Strong,



hands-on experience building and operating data solutions with AWS Glue, Redshift, QuickSight, and Apache Spark on AWS.
- Data Warehousing & Modeling : Dimensional modeling using Kimball and/or DataVault 2.0, applied to enterprise warehouses. Experience with Snowflake and Teradata is an asset.
- AI Tooling : To accelerate pipeline development, data analysis, and documentation, hands-on experience with AI-assisted and agentic development tools is an asset. These could include Kiro, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.
- Certifications : Any 'AWS Certified Data Analytics' or 'AWS Certified Data Engineer' certifications are an asset.

We are looking for a Senior AWS Data Developer to deliver on a specific team engagement, helping us deliver high-quality data solutions using the AWS platform.

Qualifications:

- 5 or more years of enterprise-level experience as a Data Developer or Data Engineer, with at least 2 years using a majority AWS data stack.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal technical supervision. You must be able to understand new domains, architect, and execute AWS-based data solutions from scratch.
- Strong experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT pipeline design, and performance tuning.
- A post‑secondary degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is an asset, but not required.
