Base Pay Range

CA$120,000.00/yr - CA$130,000.00/yr

Our client, a growing and well-established organization in Oshawa , is seeking a Manager of Finance to oversee core accounting and financial reporting functions while supporting business planning and operational decision-making. This role is being recruited by an external recruitment firm on behalf of the employer.

This chance is well suited to a hands-on finance leader who enjoys owning the numbers, improving processes, and partnering with leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and payroll oversight
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with ASPE
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support cash flow management and working capital optimization
- Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors




- Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management
- Support system improvements, reporting enhancements, and process efficiencies

Qualifications

- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Prior experience in a Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, or similar role
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics, or similar)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
