Working as part of a skilled paint team, this position is responsible for cleaning, masking, media blasting, chemical stripping, and preparing aircraft parts in accordance with approved drawings, work instructions, regulatory requirements, and Alpine Aerotech's quality standards. Your work directly contributes to Alpine Aerotech's reputation for quality and craftsmanship.How You'll Make an ImpactSurface PreparationPrepare aircraft components for painting by cleaning, degreasing, masking, media blasting, and chemical stripping using approved methods and procedures. Remove paint, coatings, corrosion, dirt, grease, and contaminants to ensure components are properly prepared for refinishing. Mask aircraft components in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Inspect parts before, during, and after preparation to verify quality standards and identify any defects or concerns before painting.Quality & Shop SupportSupport paint shop operations by ensuring components are accurately prepared and delivered on schedule.



Assist with general shop activities including cleaning, organizing work areas, maintaining equipment, and restocking materials and supplies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company procedures, safe work practices, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.Teamwork & Technical ExcellenceCollaborate with painters, technicians, inspectors, and leadership to meet production schedules while maintaining Alpine Aerotech's high standards for quality and professionalism.
