Manager of IT Security & Infrastructure - Permanent Full time

As the Manager, IT Security & Infrastructure , you will lead a team of Systems and Support Specialists responsible for network security, infrastructure operations, user and workstation support across a hybrid environment that includes both cloud and on-premise environments.

This role offers the opportunity to take a leading role in a variety of exciting projects, including new system implementations, the ongoing expansion of our fibre network, and the support of critical communications systems.

Building on significant investments that have modernized the District’s technology environment in recent years, you will help drive the next phase of infrastructure and cybersecurity advancement while working closely with other departments and the IT teams responsible for Business Applications, Financial Systems, and GIS & Data Services.

What we’re looking for:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science or a related field from an accredited post‑secondary institution
- A minimum of one relevant IT Security certification and one relevant IT Networking certification
- 5 years progressive related work experience in IT Networking and Security
- 2 years minimum of management experience and 2 years minimum experience supervising employees
- Local government experience is considered an asset
