Empower individuals battling substance use as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with Fraser Health. Focus on recovery-oriented care with a diverse, dedicated team.
You will be instrumental in providing nursing care, performing mental health assessments, and collaborating on comprehensive treatment plans. Make a positive impact through education, outreach, and effective crisis management while promoting respectful care practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver individualized nursing care
• Monitor and document client progress and responses
• Involve in multi-disciplinary team discussions
• Teach families about health promotion and prevention
• Ensure safety and compliance within the care setting
Requirements:
• Current RN or RPN registration from BCCNM
• Training in substance use disorders is essential
• Minimum one year experience in an addictions setting
• First Aid and CPR certifications required
• Possession of a valid Class 5 Driver’s License preferred
