We are now recruiting candidates for a Temporary Laboratory Technician position located in Pennfield, NB. If you are looking for an exciting chance to be a part of the Aquaculture industry, then come join our Freshwater Team at Mowi Canada East, Inc.

These positions will be approximately 6 weeks in length with a start date in September. In this temp role you will work to assist in the qPCR lab during our spawning season.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Previous experience working in laboratory along with processing experience with RNA extraction for qPCR
Related post-secondary education and/or experience within the industry is considered an asset
Well-developed English verbal and written communication
Physical ability to complete repetitive tasks
Respect for the need for protected working practices
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work safely and effectively indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions




Flexible approach to working to meet the demands of the job
Ability to work 8 to 12 hours per day, 5 to 6 days per week
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada immediately

WHAT WE OFFER
$18.00-$24.00 per hour depending on experience
Overtime paid after 44 hours per week
