Commonsense is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join an international company in the chemical industry based in Montreal, Canada.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations and supervising the day-to-day activities of the team

Responsibilities:
Check material against supplier’s documentation and purchase order and register in SAP
Unload deliveries from vehicles
Produce and attach pallet label indicating order number, delivery date, quantity, product number and description for all daily shipments
Place delivered stock in appropriate pallet location in the correct Warehouse.
Report low stock items to the Materials Controller
Report any nonconforming items to the Materials Controller and Quality Departments by using the Supplier Non-Conformance forms
Accurately pick orders from stock and prepare them for despatch using the FIFO principal
Check that the correct products are picked against customer requirements and cross referenced against the SAP Pick List
Ensure that all finished goods are packed correctly so as to avoid damage during transportation to the customer
Ensure that general housekeeping is maintained to a high standard and that waste is kept to a minimum




Load all vehicles arriving to collect goods
Ensure that drivers arriving to collect goods have the correct paperwork to collect the required goods, paying particular attention to drivers who report to collect goods of a hazardous nature (ADR
Monitor stock of pallets both Euro and Standard and reorder as required

What are we looking for?
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in general warehouse operations
Experience working with SAP is an advantage
Experience operating warehouse handling equipment
Fluent in English and French
Valid Forklift Truck Licence
Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively and consistently deliver high-quality work
Responsible, reliable, proactive and well-organised, with solid attention to detail and a solid work ethic
