Commonsense is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join an international company in the chemical industry based in Montreal, Canada.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring that the unloading, storage, picking, packing, loading and dispatch of finished goods are carried out safely, accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:
Check material against supplier’s documentation and purchase order and register in SAP.
Unload deliveries from vehicles.
Produce and attach pallet label indicating order number, delivery date, quantity, product number and description for all daily shipments
Place delivered stock in appropriate pallet location in the correct Warehouse.
Accurately pick orders from stock and prepare them for despatch using the FIFO principal.
Check that the correct products are picked against customer requirements and cross referenced against the SAP Pick List.
Ensure that all finished goods are packed correctly so as to avoid damage during transportation to the customer.




Ensure that general housekeeping is maintained to a high standard and that waste is kept to a minimum.
Load all vehicles arriving to collect goods.
Ensure that drivers arriving to collect goods have the correct paperwork to collect the required goods, paying particular attention to drivers who report to collect goods of a hazardous nature (ADR).

What are we looking for?
Minimum of 1 year of experience performing general warehouse operations.
Experience using warehouse handling equipment
Fluent in English and French
Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence
Self-motivated, responsible, with the ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively and consistently deliver high-quality results.
