Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods between locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal safety and performance
Load and unload cargo, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment to handle heavy items efficiently
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and delivery receipts
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries




Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper securing of cargo and adherence to hours-of-service regulations
Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to ensure swift resolution and compliance

Experience
Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid driver’s license suitable for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL)
Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
Strong driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation laws
Familiarity with route planning, GPS navigation, and delivery scheduling software preferred
Ability to communicate clearly and work independently while maintaining attention to detail
