We are seeking a agile and dependable Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport Fuel efficiently across various routes. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport fuel over short and long distances
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed
Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and freight manifests throughout your shift
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when required for loading or unloading cargo




Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to keep the vehicle in optimal condition

Qualifications
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts and other loading machinery
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to heavy vehicle operation and freight handling
Robust mechanical aptitude with basic automotive repair skills
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping
Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as required
