The Role: Leasing Representative As a Leasing Representative at Taylor Co, you’ll play a key role in advancing the performance of our commercial portfolio—retail, office, and mixed-use communities. You’ll partner closely with your Taylor Co. teammates, our clients owners, brokerage partners, and our customers (tenants) to drive results through strategy, connection, and exceptional service.
This is not an individual-contributor, siloed leasing role. This is a team-driven, people-first environment where your contributions strengthen a broader collaborative ecosystem that is redefining how value is created in commercial real estate.
You will be a critical voice in shaping leasing strategy, activating spaces, and supporting community‑building initiatives across our assets.
Key Responsibilities: Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers, the brokerage community, and asset ownership.
Deliver a responsive, people-first experience that aligns with Taylor Co.'s values and high-performance culture.




Leasing Strategy + Execution Lead the lease-up and renewal process across assigned properties, driving outcomes that meet or exceed performance targets.
Collaborate on the creation of leasing vision and strategic plans for each asset.
Analyze market conditions, leverage principles of real estate, and creatively solve challenges to create opportunities.
Deal Making + Documentation Oversee preparation, negotiation, and review of proposals, offers to lease, lease agreements, and amendments.
Negotiate business terms and ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time.
Prepare clear, skilled lease recommendations as required.
Prepare and distribute leasing activity updates, market insights, budget inputs, reforecasts, and internal reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
Participate in budget development as it relates to leasing performance and corporate objectives.
Provide guidance and mentorship to on-site teams with a focus on leasing priorities.
Work alongside Taylor leadership to strengthen client relationships and support long‑term asset value creation.
Live and model the Taylor Co values of performance, connection, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring A valid Real Estate License in the Province of Ontario.




5+ years of commercial leasing experience (we welcome rising talent with strong fundamentals and high potential as much as we welcome those with 10–20 years of experience).
Strong understanding of commercial real estate markets and trends.
Skilled negotiator with the ability to structure and close deals effectively.
Excellent communication abilities, including writing, presentations, and relationship-building.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
A collaborative mindset—individual contributors need not apply.
Flexibility to meet the needs of customers, colleagues, and the evolving portfolio.
A drive for performance, creative problem-solving, and continuous learning.
