Restaurant Server / Waitress

Mermaid Fish & Grill House is looking for a friendly, reliable, and experienced server to join our team.

We are a busy restaurant with a fast-paced environment, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable handling rush periods, managing multiple tables, and providing excellent customer service under pressure.

Responsibilities
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
Take accurate food and drink orders
Answer questions about the menu and make recommendations
Manage reservations and help organize seating
Serve food and beverages efficiently
Check on guests throughout their meal
Clear, clean, and reset tables
Assist with managing busy crowds and wait times
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and other team members
Maintain a clean and organized dining area
Help teammates when the restaurant becomes busy

Schedule: Most needed Fri- Sunday 12am-9pm

Be available on the weekends/ holidays

Qualifications
Previous serving, waitressing, restaurant, or customer-service experience is preferred
Experience working in a busy or fast-paced setting is an asset
Able to stay calm, organized, and professional during rush periods
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team




Able to multitask and manage several tables at once
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Smart Serve certification is preferred or must be obtained if required for the position
