Overview

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and qualified Swim Instructors and Lifeguards to join our team. This role involves teaching private swim lessons at clients’ homes while ensuring a safe and engaging experience for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.

Role
Teach private and small-group lessons at clients’ pools
Work with kids, teens, and adults (beginners to advanced)
Create transparent, progressive lesson plans and give brief progress updates
Maintain a safe, positive, and professional environment

Pay: $25 per 30min lesson + more

Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver swim lessons tailored to individual skill levels
Ensure the safety of all participants at all times
Provide constructive feedback to swimmers and parents
Maintain a professional and positive attitude
Travel to various residential locations in Kamloops

Qualifications




Prior experience in teaching or instructing swimming, 2yr required.
Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate techniques confidently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of varying ages and skill levels
Passion for teaching, water safety, and fostering a positive learning environment
Certification in First Aid - CPR/AED, National Lifeguarding, & Swim Instructor
Solid water safety skills and confident with different levels
Reliable transportation and professional communication
Peak-time availability (after school, evenings and/or weekends)

Licence/Certification:
CPR Certification (required)
Liability Insurance? If no, ask me how. (required)
Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor (required)
Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard (required)

Job Type: Part time Pay: From $35.00 per hour
